making a whole bunch of comforting oatmeal recipes

we'll be making a creamy mocha hazelnut oatmeal that are what breakfast dreams are made of so to a saucepan on high heat we're gonna

     Recipe:

   for Oatmeal

1 :          one cup (80 g) Old fashioned roll oats
   2 :          2 cups ( 470 ml ) unsweetened almond milk
   3 :          1/3 cup of cacao powder( 25 g )
   4 :          2 tea spoon ( 2 or 3 g) instant coffee granules
   5 :          1.5 OZ ( 45 g) dairy-free dark or light chocolate, roughly chopped, divided
   6 :          2 Tbsp( 2 tea big spoon ) 30 ml maple syrup
   7 :          1 pinch salt ( as you wish )

How we make in details:

What breakfast dreams are made of so to a saucepan on high heat we're gonna add a cup of
old-fashioned rolled oats along with two cups of unsweetened plant-based milk we're using almond milk here plus we'll add in a third of a cup of cacao powder two teaspoons of instant
coffee granules and a pinch of optional salt then we're gonna bring the oatmeal to a gentle boil and reduce it to a simmer for about seven to ten minutes just giving it a stir every once in a
while to prevent it from burning so one of my favorite things about having some oatmeal in the morning for breakfast is that it's an awesome way to get in some calcium every day especially
if you're choosing plant milks and plant yogurts that are fortified with calcium. we can move on to chopping up some dark chocolate we're going to be using about 50 grams worth you can always use more or less whatever.

You'd like and once the oatmeal is cooked we're going to remove it from the heat and add in about half of the chopped chocolate plus two tablespoons of maple syrup or again more or less to
taste then we're going to give everything a stir so that the chocolate melts into the oatmeal and now comes time for us to divide the oatmeal between our bowls the toppings here these are just ideas so feel free to add whatever you'd like we're going to be adding some sliced banana to the top along with a generous scoop of some roasted hazelnut butter.

In case you'd like to make your own hazelnut butter recipe at home it is so easy to do it's just one ingredient hazelnuts which you roast and then you blend it up in your food processor it seriously couldn't be any easier but if you like the recipe we just uploaded it to the blog i'm going to leave the link for you in the description box below another thing i always like to add to my oatmeal is some kind of yogurt here i'm using some coconut yogurt and then you can always sprinkle on top some optional roasted hazelnuts if you'd like and the rest of the chopped chocolate of course because we don't want to waste any of that the combination of chocolate and hazelnuts gives it a decadent  nutella-like taste that'll make you feel like you're having dessert for breakfast.
