We have nothing to do with the flour crisis, Chairman FBR
Islamabad: Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has said that we have nothing to do with the flour crisis. They made it clear that there is no tax on flour.
According to Hum News, Chairman FBR told the media that nature was on leave because of the disaster. He said that there was no disagreement with the Federal Advisor to the Treasurer, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.
Responding to a question, Shibir Zaidi said that the reduction in imports caused a loss of Rs 200 billion in tax revenue. He said that if imports increased, then they would re-evaluate the tax measures.
According to We News, Chairman FBR said that he would look after the IMF's review of revision in tax targets.
