Dhaka: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) refuses to play Test series in Pakistan
The announcement was made by BCB President Poet Al Hasan after a board meeting. He said that according to the government advice, only T20 can be played in Pakistan.
He said the Bangladesh team could make a brief stay in Pakistan.
The series from Pakistan, BCB called for more time
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on the other hand, says that Bangladesh has not yet formally notified PCB.
According to him there are media reports that the BCB wants to play only T20 in Pakistan.
The spokesman said that the PCB is in its position.
'Question of coming to Pakistan for Test series does not arise'
Following the announcement by the BCB, the Bangladesh Bangladesh series has been feared to fall into disrepair.
The PCB is not ready to change its position, while the Bangladesh board is reluctant to play T20.
The PCB has invited Bangladesh to play two Test matches and three Twenty20 matches.
The PCB wants to play the first two Tests.
