National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Ahsan Iqbal, the PML's general secretary.

NAB has summoned PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal in connection with an investigation into alleged corruption in the construction of Narowal Sports Complex.

A spokesman for the NAB confirmed the arrest of Ahsan Iqbal, saying that Ahsan Iqbal has been arrested in the Narowal Sports Complex case.

Sources say that today the team of doctors will conduct a medical examination of Ahsan Iqbal, after which they will be presented to the Accountability Court tomorrow for physical remand.

The investigation into alleged corruption in the construction of Narowal Sports Complex against the PML-N general secretary Ahsan Iqbal is underway and the visiting officer of NAB Rawalpindi along with PWD team has visited Narwal.

Muslim League-N spokesman Mary Aurangzeb condemned the arrest of Ahsan Iqbal by the NAB, saying that Ahsan Iqbal had declared Imran Khan invalid and ineligible for some time before his arrest.

Maryan Aurangzeb said Ahsan Iqbal was repeatedly told to remain silent, but he persisted in his ideology and spoke the truth.

He said that Imran Khan should arrest as many people as possible, but the NC workers will stick to their ideology.

Responding to the arrest of Ahsan Iqbal, PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry said the NAB was being used to control the opposition.

Talal Chaudhry said that the arrest of Ahsan Iqbal is a nexus of NAB and Imran Khan. Ahsan Iqbal knew that he would be arrested but he remained in his ideology.

Talking to the media shortly before his arrest, Ahsan Iqbal said that if accountability is linked to the political agenda, revenge takes place. Imran Khan has become a world leader and internal stability has also been destroyed.

Ahsan Iqbal said that Narwal Sports City should file a case in front of the media, stop the media trial, tell Imran that the PML-N will not be bothered by the threats. This country is ours.
